Job Interview Do’s & Don’ts

If you are in the midst of job hunting, one of the most important things you can do to land a great opportunity is to ace your job interview. Most people do not like the job interview process because they are being evaluated and judged. For many people a job is extremely important and the stress of doing well on a job interview can be extremely overwhelming. Here are some job interview do’s & don’ts.

One of the most important things you can do is to prepare for a job interview. Read company literature; familiarize yourself with their products, marketing and recent successes. Don’t go to a job interview without knowing about the company. Many job interviewers can tell if you have come prepared or not. They will rate you on how much interest you have in the company and if working for their company is important to you or not.

Dress is very important. Make sure you come to a job interview dressed appropriately. Many job interviewers are amazed at how some people come to a job interview. Don’t wear flip flops, Capri’s or t shirts. The way you dress shows your attitude. When in doubt, change your dress.
